Every year, the regulated lottery and sports betting industry raises a huge amount of funds for good causes in the areas of: arts and culture, education, the environment, healthcare, sports and assisting emergencies, around the world.

In 2024, WLA lottery and sports betting operator members gave back almost 95 billion to such causes (Source: WLA Global Lottery Data Compendium). This support positively impacts individuals, communities and societies worldwide.

Throughout the year, we share and promote this significant contribution, highlighting the amazing projects and initiatives our members support on our website at Play for Society.

Showcase your work at WLS 2026

The World Lottery Summit provides an excellent opportunity to highlight this work to the global community which gathers for the Congress.

Here’s how to participate and share your work:

Select your video or photo and text of the good cause you support.
Submit it to: playforsociety@world-lotteries.org and indicate:
- your company / organization
- the purpose of the cause supported
