What do you do to stay active in Vancouver? 


In a city surrounded by majestic mountains, tree-lined trails and a refreshing ocean breeze, it’s no wonder Vancouver has a reputation as a year-round paradise for active people. Whether you’re an early morning riser inclined to take a sunrise walk along Vancouver’s famous Seawall or you prefer an after-conference sweat session, there’s a multitude of activities one can do to stay active in and near the downtown core.

On a clear day, you’ll find tourists and locals alike paddling around False Creek in kayaks that can easily be rented at Granville Island. It’s the perfect vantage point for taking in the beautiful cityscape of downtown, and if you’re lucky you may even see a seal or two along the way!

On clear days, we recommend renting a bike from one of the many shops along Denman Street and cruising down Beach Avenue along the Seawall through False Creek. On rainy days you can still get your sweat on at SPINCO during one of their energizing indoor cycling sessions.
