WLA 2018 RESPONSIBLE GAMING AWARDS
Background
Following the acceptance in Singapore in 2006 of the WLA Responsible Gaming Framework (RGF), the certification program has now been successfully finalized and implemented since 2009, with currently 54 WLA members certified at level 4, 15 WLA members certified at level 3, and 14 WLA members certified at level 2. The RGF serves as an excellent guide on the path to your lottery’s and business’ success in attaining the highest industry standards of responsible gaming and sustainable lottery business development.
Following the first Responsible Gaming Awards in 2008, WLA is once again issuing a call for award submissions. In order to further promote excellence and innovation in the industry, the WLA has again decided to showcase:

The Best FLAGSHIP for Level 2 in Responsible Gaming Award |
… aims to recognise members at level 2 showcasing best practices and innovation in the design of an element of their Responsible Gaming program that they are either planning to implement in the near future or already have implemented. |
The Best FLAGSHIP for Level 3 in Responsible Gaming Award |
… aims to recognise members at level 3 showcasing best practices and innovation in the delivery of an element of their Responsible Gaming program or a specific initiative. |
The Best FLAGSHIP for Level 4 in Responsible Gaming Award |
… aims to recognise members at level 4, showcasing best practices and innovation in the delivery of an element of their Responsible Gaming program or a specific initiative. |
The Best OVERALL Responsible Gaming Program Award |
… aims to recognise excellence in Responsible Gaming and reward the best overall program at level 4, showcasing best practices and innovations across all program elements. |

The lottery winners will be announced during the Closing Dinner at the 2018 WLA Convention in Buenos Aires on November 21, 2018.

Eligibility
All WLA lottery members who are certified by the WLA at level 2, 3 or 4, depending on the award category they are submitting for, or who will be submitting for one of these levels of certification by the October 2018 deadline, are eligible to apply.
Submissions will be evaluated by the WLA RG Independent Assessment Panel with its chairwoman, Anne Pattberg. If your lottery is the immediate past winner of one of the awards, it can only resubmit for this award in its next certification cycle.
