Highlights:

We will visit different places among others the cemetery of Recoleta. Where we will make a trip through our history, in which we will find mausoleums and crypts of the national heroes and ancestors of traditional families while we are walking along the narrow streets of this cemetery. Buenos Aires has several personalities who became internationally famous, and a few who have become icons. In this tour you will learn about the life of one of the most influential people in the history of Argentina: Eva Duarte de Perón, former first lady of the Republic and an advocate on behalf the labor and women rights.

Overview:

You will travel through the Avenida 9 de Julio and Recoleta neighborhoods and hear the story of Eva Peron’s life, in either an air-conditioned minivan or coach. After this introduction, arrive at the Recoleta cemetery and enjoy a 30-minute walking tour through the cemetery. The guided visit will lead us to the mausoleums of the main historic characters of the Argentine history such as Marcelo T. de Alvear, president from 1922 to 1928, and Raul Alfonsin, the first Argentine president democratically elected in 1983 following the military government. You will also see the mausoleum of Evita and her family. The tour finishes with a 30-minute visit of the Evita Museum, at which you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the life and work of one of the most important women in Argentina.

San Telmo:
The walking tour starts at our offices located in the heart of the San Telmo Neighborhood. The San Telmo tour is for those visitors who love historic architecture, classic parrillas filled with working class Porteños and have a desire for a little adventure. We will begin just off the famous Defensa Street at an old fashioned parrilla with an asador (grill cook) with a cult like following among locals. Next a stop at a standing room only choripan restaurant filled with soccer fanatics, followed by a walk down the street to one of the classic Buenos Aires parrillas, before ending the afternoon at a delicious heladeria known for their selection of homemade ice cream flavors.

We offer you the opportunity to live a different experience in the city of Buenos Aires, to feel the Tango essence as true tangueros do. Our tour will take you, accompanied by an expert guide, to one of the most emblematic Tango experiences in the heart of San Telmo neighborhood. There you can practice your dance moves with group lessons. 

Overview:

The tour begins with the pick up of the passengers from the hotel, around 11:30. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will go to Café de los Angelitos, a beautiful bar with over 100 years of Buenos Aires history. Café de los Angelitos bar is the place where Carlos Gardel used to go when he began his artistic career and plenty of great exponents of the tango met each other. It recreates the twentieth century in a luxurious and elegant way and will amaze you with its elegant decoration and history.

Let's snack in this stylish cafe! You may choose between:
Drink (choose one of the following): Coffee - Cappuccino - Tea - Hot chocolate - Orange juice
Food (choose one of the following):
1 grilled cheese and ham sandwich - 1 piece of cake - 2 croissants

Then we are going to visit the Carlos Gardel Museum: the house where Carlos Gardel lived with his mother. He was a singer, songwriter, composer, actor and the most prominent figure in the history of tango. The house was built in 1960 also a tanguería and it has been completely restored and nowadays exhibits the goods of cultural heritage and work of the singer. The faucet has been recovered from the kitchen and bathroom. It is a place to learn about different stages of their objects like photos, magazines, newspapers, musical instruments, records and furniture. In the courtyard we will find a table belonging to Café de los Angelitos bar, where he used to go and we previously visited on the tour.

After visiting the Carlos Gardel Museum, we are going to take an incredible tango lesson (lasting an hour) in La Catedral Club or La Viruta.

Once there, take a group lesson to learn the basic steps of Tango. During the dance, our expert Tango guide will tell you interesting facts about history and the secret codes, so that you can understand what you are seeing and learn what Tango is all about.

It's time for you to learn amazing dance steps along with expert dancers.
